The house was decorated in a charming and quaint style, reminiscent of a bygone era. The cozy sitting areas and beautiful terrace offered a sense of nostalgia and relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated the comfortable seating and the accessibility of the hotel's general areas, which made it easy for me to move around and enjoy the atmosphere. The cappuccino served at breakfast was absolutely delightful, providing a perfect start to my day. And the view from the terrace was simply sensational, overlooking the stunning valley and surrounding hills.
I would have liked better signage on the road into Gangi as Google maps led me to a closed road. Upon arriving late in the evening, it was difficult to navigate and find the correct way.

I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable and rejuvenating experience.

The owners have done a fantastic job renovating the traditional farmhouse, preserving the rich history and culture of the region. The dinners were mind-blowing, with delicious Sicilian food that just kept coming. The hospitality of Aldo and his family made us feel like visiting family, and the peacefulness of the location made for a truly relaxing stay. I can't recommend this place enough!

We had an incredibly peaceful and relaxing stay in the heart of Sicily. the rooms were charming and comfortable, with large wooden shutters that let in plenty of sunlight and offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside. the breakfast was a delicious feast of fresh cheeses, meats, breads, and locally sourced delights. the hospitality of the owners was unmatched, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout our entire stay.
The swimming pool area could use some maintenance and updating.

I was excited to visit the Chiesa San Nicilo and chose Casale Villa Raino because of its convenient location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent amenities provided, such as express check-in, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services. The restaurant at the guesthouse also served a satisfying meal, which added to my overall positive experience.
Google maps led me onto a closed road, and there were insufficient signs to guide me to Casale Villa Raino. This was particularly challenging when I arrived after dark.

I recently stayed at the charming Casale Villa Raino for a week-long tour of Sicily. Nestled in the hills, this old farmhouse offers a picturesque landscape and modern comforts. The hospitable owners served us a delicious multi-course Sicilian dinner, the best we had during our trip. The spacious and clean rooms were perfect for our family, and the children loved the pool. The location was peaceful and the farm activities added to the authentic experience. Highly recommended!
I do recommend this hotel.

The decoration at Casale Villa Raino was charmingly old-fashioned, with antique furniture and traditional decor that gave it a cozy and nostalgic feel. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and had a lovely rustic atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with ramps and handrails in place to help navigate any uneven surfaces or stairs.
I would have preferred if the staff at the hotel were more attentive to the needs of senior guests. It would have been helpful if they had offered assistance with carrying luggage or provided more guidance on navigating the property, especially for those with mobility challenges.

Delicious cuisine: The on-site restaurant served us mouthwatering regional dishes that were absolutely to die for! Every bite was like a burst of flavors, combining the best of Sicilian cuisine with the specialties of the Palermo province. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Language barrier: The owner's lack of English language skills made communication a bit challenging.

The location was stunning, nestled deep in the mountains. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking a beautiful valley. The hotel had a spacious and clean room that we enjoyed.
The owner was extremely rude and unhelpful. He didn't speak English and seemed offended that we didn't speak Italian.
